We feel that it is most financially responsible on a long term basis to equip national preachers in their own land to grow the church there. They already know the laws, culture, language, and land. However most of the men can’t afford to support their families on a “church planters” income, so they get other jobs and lose focus on the ministry they feel called to.
That’s where Gospelink comes in. After a referral, application, interview, and approval process, the national preacher now waits for sponsorship.
We have representatives who travel all across the country speaking about Gospelink at churches, schools, and business meetings. After hearing about Gospelink, if someone chooses, they become a monthly sponsor of a national preacher. The sponsor picks the sponsorship level, and the region where they want to support a national preacher.
The sponsors then receive quarterly reports and correspondence from the preachers, sometimes with pictures, and can also send letters to their preacher through the Gospelink office.
There are several options on how you can partner with Gospelink.
Please prayerfully consider the following options:
1) Preacher Sponsorship.
(This can be done on an individual basis or as a group SPONSOR A NATIONAL PREACHER TODAY!! )
2) Helping raise funds for some of the current needs in the newsletter.
3) Writing encouraging letters to the preachers in afflicted areas, or any area!
4) Raise awareness through linking to Gospelink’s online presence (blogs, facebook, websites, MySpace, etc…)
5) Invite a Gospelink Representative to speak at your church, or school.
